Birmingham Botanical Gardens and Glasshouses!

So I started at the beautiful Birmingham Botanical Gardens and Glasshouses on the 1st October and it's already flown by so quickly! I'm thoroughly enjoying my time here - even working on my Sundays off voluntarily as I love it so much!

Seeing as I've only just started this blog so late on at my time here, I will try and post a few photos and summarise just some of the things I've been up to so far...

Made a scarecrow - he's called James!

Poinsettia potting on!

Plenty of watering and sweeping!

Hardwood cuttings!

Christmas dinner fun!

Some good old hedgecutting!

Pruning at heights!

Staking tulips and daffodils!

Said hello and goodbye to Pwercy Peacock (or affectionately named "shit-for-brains"...)

Lots of tea!

Some trees got lost to the high winds!

Bonfires!

Shredding, plenty of shredding!

Streptocarpus potting on! (I even got to take a couple home!)

Pricking out!

A few general photos of the garden and sunsets.

I will try and post weekly from now on, I hope you enjoy!
